Beginning Watercolor starts with a demonstration of techniques including wet into wet, gradated washes, wet on dry, dry brush and “special” effects will be taught. After initial technique practice, students will be able to choose a simple landscape of flower as their first painting. After the first course, students can continue with W/C II, W/C III, W/C IV, or Open W/C. More advanced W/C painting will then be attempted.
Materials: Students will provide their own art supplies. COST FOR ALL W/C SUPPLIES is approx. $100. ALL supplies can be purchased at the first class, at the SAS. 10% discount.
