Both Robert & Alice Seufert have been teaching art classes to both children and adults for over 35 years. The studio has provided quality art instruction for people all over Bucks County, Montgomery County, Northeast Philadelphia, Trenton, and other parts of New Jersey .  Patrick, their son began teaching beginning drawing and oil painting in 2016 at the studio. He now teaches a full range of art classes.

The Studio offers just about every aspect of creative art. Most of the art is realistic, including drawing, watercolor and oil painting but abstract art, cartooning, super heroes, Anime/Magna, pastel, charcoal, colored pencil, colored ink, mixed media, etc. are also offered. (see complete CLASS listing) For kids classes, all safe materials (for children 7-12 years) are used, including clay.  In teen & adult drawing classes, students can choose to work on a variety of subject matter and also a variety of artist's materials.

Providing art instruction to so many grateful students over the years has been a real pleasure for both Mr. & Mrs. Seufert. They very much appreciate their student'sloyalty and the fact that a large number of which, have studied with them for many, many years. We have had numerous success stories credited to our former students, some who have become professional artists, art teachers, art therapists and art historians. Others continued to do art as a hobby while they worked on their own individual careers in different venues.

Our art studio has been able to flourish over the years, mainly because of the friendly teaching atmosphere.  Another reason is because there are so many classes available for students to choose, in order to accommodate their artistic needs. Our class size is kept small in number to be able to provide individual attention to all our students. Our tuition is very reasonable.

Patrick, being the newest member of the teaching staff, hopes to continue the Seufert's legacy.  A legacy of offering the highest quality of art instruction to their students and also future generations of students!

Meet the Seufert Family

Robert J. Seufert, Alice Olson Seufert and Patrick Seufert, all have B.F.A.'s from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. The Seufert's are all professional artists, who exhibit and sell their paintings in the Bucks County/Philadelphia area. Robert and Patrick have also exhibited in galleries across the U.S. Although all are artist in their own right, each one expresses his/her art with their own unique style and technique. Their subject matter also differs between the three. Robert and Patrick are oil painters, while Alice is a watercolorist. Robert and Alice also render in pastel, on occasion. They are all experts in their craft and pass on their knowledge via teaching classes at their studio, to both children and adults.

About our prints

These limited edition giclée prints were reproduced from original oil paintings by Robert J. Seufert.

Alice Olson Seufert's print "Anticipation" is a reproduction of her original watercolor of her daughter, blowing bubbles, at the age of 18 months.

Having used ultra chrome UV inks, Robert's giclées are printed on artist canvas and the canvas hand stretched (over professional grade stretcher bars) and varnished by Robert himself. Alice Olson Seufert's W/C "Anticipation" is printed on acid free, smooth velvet paper, with archival UV inks.

Most of Mr. Seufert's giclées are scenes painted from Bucks or Chester County, in Pennsylvania.  "After the Rain" is a giclée that is painted from the U. S. National Park, Assateaque Island, in Maryland. All giclee prints are signed by the artist and numbered. (Editions are limited.)
